We have a new house!
We are happy to introduce to you all the newest addition of Flipping Dreams, Modern Farmhouse!
We just recently bought this house at the end of November, and we’re already getting to work on it!
We have started turning this outdated home into a dream home, first by giving it some more space, we knocked out a huge wall in the living area!
We have never torn down a wall this big before on a project, but we are so glad we did it. It completely opened up the room.
A lot of our inspiration for this house will be coming from Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia in Waco, Texas.
If you remember, we went on a trip there last year and picked up a few good ideas, but we haven’t been able to use them until now!
This is a Modern Farmhouse renovation, and no one quite does it better than them!
So all of you farmhouse lovers get ready! We’ll be updating a lot on this one!
Demo is Starting!
As you all know, we recently just bought our 5th house!
6th if you want to count our AirBNB. We have named this house Modern Farmhouse, and we’ve already gotten to work on it.
We’ve been focusing mostly on the living area.
We knocked down the main wall, to open up the area and we are now giving it a few adjustments to really modernize the house.
We have taken out the whole entire kitchen and plan to replace it with new appliances and countertops.
As of right now, the room is still a bright blue, but we want to change that.
We are planning on finding a nice backsplash to really bring the whole room together.
We are very excited for all of the other rooms in this house and we are very excited for how this room will turn out.

Downstairs Renovation:
Hey there! If you’ve been active on instagram or facebook lately, you know that our team has been putting the work in this winter to renovate our two houses:
Modern Farmhouse, and Boho house.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the work that they have done so far, and we are so lucky to have a team that genuinely loves what they do!
Our Modern Farmhouse has been getting some work mainly in the basement so far.
When we bought it, it was pretty much an unfinished open space.
We’ve started putting in walls to create a second bedroom and a living room.
And because of this we got to create a huge storage/laundry room for the lucky buyers.
There is still much much more to do, especially upstairs. But we couldn’t be more proud of where we’re at right now.
Cabinets and Floors:
We have made a lot of progress on our Modern Farmhouse.
From tearing down one of the main walls to putting in cabinets.
We are so so proud of our team and are so excited for the lucky buyers!
A couple of weeks ago, we started to texture the walls.
Finally! We love the way it turned out and it makes it feel so much more like a home.
This week, we got to put in our cabinets! We chose white uppers and hickory lowers. Along with that, we put in the cabinets for our coffee bar!
We love how this project is coming around.
Our next task, however, is picking out the flooring. We went to the store yesterday and are currently trying out different colors and styles of wood.

Painting and More:
As you all know, our team has been working hard to get two houses done.
These are our Modern Farmhouse and the Boho House.
We are super proud and grateful for those who are working alongside us.
Now for the update: Modern farmhouse is almost finished!
This week we finished all of the painting that needed to be done here, there is very little left to do!
This is definitely one of our favorite flips so far, we really are starting to get the hang of it.
We have absolutely fallen in love with this house and are having the best time restoring it.

Lighting and Flooring:
As most of you know, we have been working hard to get our two houses completed.
These houses are our Modern Farmhouse and our Boho House.
Today we will be talking about Modern Farmhouse, but we promise there is more to come for the Boho House.
Modern Farmhouse has been getting quite a bit of updates.
Most recently we installed all of the cabinets, along with a coffee bar that we are super excited about.
We finally have lights! In all of the main areas of the house we installed recess lighting.
We love how it looks and it makes working a whole lot easier.
Our next thing to get done was the flooring.
We were having some trouble figuring out which one we really wanted in this house. But we finally got it installed!

We’re so excited to make this house feel cozy, comfortable, and like home for a special buyer.

Finishing Touches!
We are moving closer and closer to getting our Modern Farmhouse on the market!
This week we are finishing up the final touches, and after that we will start staging!
We are so proud of the work that was and still is being done on the Modern Farmhouse.
We are so excited to finally give you all a tour of the finished product, and we are so excited to hand it over to a great buyer.

The Virtual Tour is Coming!
We have been working on the Modern Farmhouse for some time now, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it has turned out.
This week we are prepping the house for staging, and next week we will have a cozy home to share with you all!
We have been held up a little bit by the snow; we had planned to give you all a virtual tour today.
But that tour is coming soon!
We want to thank our incredible team for getting this house done in record time, but still renovating it with care.

Staging is Done:
As we told you last week, we have been putting the finishing touches on our Modern Farmhouse.
Last week we set out to stage the home, and we are pleased to tell you that it is finished!
We are so proud of the work that was done and are planning on getting you all a virtual tour in the upcoming days
We couldn’t be more excited for the direction Flipping Dreams is headed, and we’re so happy you’re all coming along with us.
Almost there…
If you’ve been keeping up with our facebook or instagram, you know that we’ve been working on our Modern Farmhouse to get it on the market!
And we just put in a couple final touches and it is now ready to sell!
We are very proud of this home as the before and after is crazy.

On the Market!
The Modern Farmhouse has been a favorite of ours.

Bittersweet Goodbye:
As you all know, on Monday we launched the sale of our Modern Farmhouse at 10 am.
We were nervous and excited all at the same time.
By 3pm we already had 4 offers!
We have never been more proud of a home and the intentionality we put into it.
And obviously there were many people who fell in love with it as we did.
Yesterday night we sat down to talk about the decision between the offers.
We were torn between the very sweet offers and it was very difficult to choose!
Ultimately we chose and gave the home to a loving buyer.
We are so lucky to have so many people that love our work, you guys are all amazing and we hope to build more of your dream homes soon.

Closing Day!
We recently finished our Modern Farmhouse home. It was a lot of work, but it paid off.
We had multiple offers by the end of the day, and we decided on a lovely buyer.
We have been spending the time since then getting the home ready for them!
Finally, we have closed on the house!
The Modern Farmhouse is completely out of our hands!!
We are so so proud of this house, and also so sad to see it go.
We owe a lot to this house.
